Yellowstone National park began from December 18, 1871 when bill
was introduced in Congress for establishment of preserve of headwaters of Yellowstone River.
The best description about Yellowstone came from Rudyard Kipling after his visit "the park is just a howling
wilderness of three thousand square miles, full of imaginable freaks of a fiery nature". The most popular
Yellowstone mammals are: elk, moos, mule deer, black bear, grizzly bear, coyote and wolf.
